The Eagles acquired linebacker Adrian Robinson from the Pittsburgh Steelers for running back Felix Jones. The deal is pending physicals.

Robinson, 23, is a Temple product who was undrafted in 2012. He's 6-foot-1, 250 pounds and played 12 games with the Steelers last season. He adds depth to outside linebacker, which is a position of need for the Eagles. Outside of Connor Barwin, Trent Cole, and Brandon Graham, the team is thin at the position. Chris McCoy, Everette Brown, and Travis Long are the other options.

Jones was signed to a one-year deal during the offseason, although the former Dallas Cowboys first-round pick did not impress. He fell down the depth chart and appeared unlikely to make the roster.
