The Eagles signed linebacker Emmanuel Acho off the New York Giants practice squad and released Shaun Prater.

Acho spent the offseason, training camp, and preseason with the Eagles. He was released at the end the preseason, which was when the team claimed Prater off waivers.

The Eagles have a greater need for inside linebacker help after Jake Knott hurt his hamstring.

Acho had 11 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in the preseason finale.
