Making the playoffs was never really the goal there Jeff....the Aspirations were a little hiring than that..With a turnstyle for an Offensive line....pathetic safeties and literally the worst Linebacking corp in team history.....I'm hoping for an early round first draft pick and the end of the fat Walrus....go Niners

The season is not in jeopardy because it wasn't never going to amount to much. Nearly everyone agreed that the O line and the interior of the D was suspect, definitely not championship caliber. Add to that some lingering doubts about Vick over the long haul and AR's uneasy relationship with TOs/game day adjustments and all that is left is watching college to see who the Birds won't draft on the first day. 2ndNlong- sorry, "were suspect"
2ndNlong - Man... you guys are brutal. The season is still young it's only game 4 of the season a lot can happen and I have confidence that things will turn around. You all act like you haven't seen this before. We have started out slow then in the middle of the season we peak at the right time. I don't know how deep we'll go into the playoffs but I'm confident we'll make it. Remember last year's SB Champs had to win their last 2 games just to get a wild card bid, they were 4-3 going into week 8 no reason not to believe we won't be 4-2 going into the bye week.
- Yes, we've seen it before: A team with a lot of holes, an arrogant coach who makes questionable decisions, a team that barely makes the playoffs but gets there then doesn't go very deep into the postseason.
That movie is getting old. s
Don't worry about winning and losing, just be sure you keep showing up on Sunday, keep consuming copious amounts of food and drink during the game and don't forget to visit the Pro Shop on the way out. PinkstonsStrengthCoach- so true.. nothing will change until Lurie feels the hurt in his deeeeeeeeeep (one-way) pockets..

I think this may be the year that Reid cannot pull it all together, and he knows it. That is why he is so angry with the media right now.
