FROM THE INQUIRER
- Michael Vick is out and Nick Foles is in, writes Jeff McLane:
Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that Vick's bruised ribs will not sideline him for very long. But rather than risk further injury to his starter, the Eagles coach will likely sit Vick for the final two preseason games, "unless I'm drastically changing something," Reid said.
- Cullen Jenkins and Andy Reid have made amends, Dennis Kelly will start at right tackle and more in this loaded notebook:
Jenkins pointed out that the team rallied around Reid's emotion and played better after the confrontation. Still, Jenkins learned after the game that the exchange was caught on national television and would become a big story. That was the source of his remorse.
- Former Eagle and ESPN radio host Mike Golic offered some thoughts on the Eagles on Wednesday, writes Michael Vitez:
Let Michael Vick be Michael Vick.
Andy Reid is a great coach.
