Eagles extend Darren Sproles through 2016

On Thursday, the Eagles traded for Darren Sproles. On Friday, they inked Sproles to a two-year contract extension through 2016.

On Thursday, the Eagles traded for Darren Sproles. On Friday, they inked Sproles to a two-year contract extension through 2016.

Sproles, who will turn 31 in June, had one year remaining at $3.5 million. Terms of the extension are not yet known. 

Sproles is set to meet with reporters on Friday afternoon. More information coming then.
