What do the Philadelphia Eagles need in the NFL draft? Is Juan Castillo still defensive coordinator? The Inquirer's Jeff McLane is at the Senior Bowl with more.

The question asked is, " What do the Eagles need in the NFL draft ?" The answer is simple. Someone new doing the drafting.

Good thing none of the tiny minority of negadelphians, WIPers, and poser trolls are involved, or we would be 0-16 every year! !!!GO EAGLES!!!

You are half right, some one new needs to draft defensive players. Maclin, McCoy, Jackson, Watkins, Kelce, Celek, Herremans are all solid picks. The only decent defensive players drafted recently were Cole and Patterson.

Is Kuechly there? Can't wait to preview our latest too small, too slow, can't get off blocks, makes all tackles 5 yards past the line of scrimmage player!

Have you even seen Luke Kuechly play?...The Birds could do alot worse than take that kid...His instincts are superb, and he's excelled at two different positions at BC....Mark Barron, Dont'a Hightower, or Michael Floyd would all look good as well at 15...

with a salary cap, drafting becomes the greatest and quickest way to improve..and we stink at it...

How about a quarterback? Somebody will have lots of opportunities to start for Vick.

If Andy Reid stays consistent for his kinship to a mobile QB, there's a really good athlete and a leader that will be available in the 4rth round...Russell WIlson out of Wisconsin. His listed height is what keeps him out of the second round, but he's a winner and a real playmaker..Another under the radar kid as well is Dan Persa,(Bethlehem) who played at Northwestern..He would give the Eagles the only backups ever for an NFL team from the same school....But if you're looking for an available guy in the second round..the pick is Brandon Weeden out of Oklahoma State. Some laugh (he's 28, a former minor league baseball player), but he's got the arm, leadership, and, ahem, the maturity..Think Andy Dalton...He's been solely a shotgun guy, but he's a player. He's in the Senior Bowl as well.

We all know the Eagles won't draft the 1st team All-Americans that are available because they aren't good enough. Remember 2003 when they drafted LJ Smith when Jason Witten was available?

Eagles staff at the Senior Bowl: I'd feel safer in a roomful of chimpanzees with loaded pistols.

I am tired of hearing about this lb from BC. Vontaze Burfict is the pick, go to you tube to see both lb's. The difference is night and day!!!

NO LINEBACKERS please, i hear the talk....But rookie linebackers has been our problem. We need a veteran presence back there. Drafting a LB in the first round would be the biggest mistake since making Castillo DC.

They will pick a projected 3rd rounder in the 1st. A projected 4th rounder in the second and a project 6 round in the third round as in years past

Remember when the Giant's GM flipped off the fans on twitter because the Giant's didn't do anything in free agency? Now I know why, no reason to spend when you already have the talent on the roster.
