nick foles 6'6 243lbs oh id say there is a big diff. this guy is the future big body big arm destine to be a starter a.j. feeley and koy detmer were always meant to be back ups thats the diff...— defroe - Brees is also 6'0". But that's about it, at least for guys you'd call top NFL QBs. The Mannings, Brady, Roethlisberger, Newton ... all 6'4" or taller. A handful (Rodgers, Romo) around 6'2" (McNabb is also 6'2"). — s
- no one on these boards are comparing him to any of the others... everyone is saying oh the next koy detmer the next a.j. feeley. all 2nd string short toothpick qbs i dont see the comparison. brees gets the ball out quick good pocket presense i cant say the same for vick. people dont get me wrong i was a vick supporter im all for second chances but man when it becomes 3rd and 4th chances and you keep making the same mistakes... and the rookie comes out and moves the ball down field damn right im jumping on his bandwagon especially over mike an mike. neither has shown us anything in the preseason except for that they are brittle... — defroe

- I'd be surprised if Vick doesn't miss at least 4 games. So we'll probably get to see Foles in real games. Vick's biggest problem is he can't stay on the field. He's got a big bulls eye on those ribs now.

- The Detmers were also light -- both under 200 pounds. It always looked like they were waiting to get snapped in two to me. Vick is bulkier (listed at 215) but that's still relatively small to take the hits he does. He's got to do more to avoid being hit or he's going to miss games.— s
- yeah 6'6 243lbs doesnt look like he could get snapped in two big bulky can see over the o-line i think philly fans who like foles have some legitimate reasons for liking the kid not just throwing out names and comparing if so id compare him to ben roethlisbooger more than anyone based on size arm strength and pocket presence but yeah he is totally the next koy detmer lol — defroe
