No they don't. They care about the money and blaming other people. Like Dick Vermiel said,I have to get rid of the dogs, find out who wants to play and be here.

More important...do the fans still care?

No... I do not see it... Obviously from the second half performance, the players have given up for the season, and Reid officially lost the locker room... You might not see another win the entire year from the Eagles, and personally I think that for all the Reid has done for the organization over the years, Lurie should let him finish out the season.... But if this continues, don't be surprised if Reid is fired before the end of the season, wouldn't surprise me at all....

If any players did care they won't after watching Shady get injured when he should have been on the sidelines. To compound the injury, Reid's sheer arrogance in his comment that he was in there because they were trying to catch up will alienate the players further.

I've long thought that this is not a case of the Eagles wanting to win. I think they all want to win. However, I do not think that anyone connected with the team -- from Jeff Lurie down -- hates to lose.

There is a difference between wanting to win and hating to lose. Championship teams hate to lose.

I think you make a great point. The "we were trying to catch up" comment will hurt any future he has with this team, because they now know that he's not ginuine, but just saying what will make him seem to be a competitor.

They are completely unwatchable. Time to clean house, D-Jax, Maclin, Babin, Asumough, Cole, Celek, & Jenkins are some of the most over-rated players in the NFL!! Andy Reid was a great coach here for a while.. He was structured then in his design of this organization. With everything that has gone on here as well as his personal life, Reid needs some time away from the game. He can't do it anymore. The wide-9 is a joke. Washburn's a moron! The game plan every week is absolutely horrible.

As a long time season ticket holder, I am disgusted by what I've been watching for most of the last two seasons. This team is a bunch of high pais mercenaries that don't give a sh__. If more than a handful of the Eagles players cared as much as the fans, you would not have a showing like we witnessed on Sunday. Trent Cole and Justin Babin should have their photos on the back of milk cartons -- they have been missing for the entire season, Nate Allen is completely useless and cannot play, Asonmugha gets beat like a rentd mule every week -- all of the above should be shown the door at the end of the year. Unfortunately Reid hitched his wagon to a mirage in 2010 -- Vick isn't an elite QB and his decision to promate Castillo to DC and hire Mudd and his unique blocking scheme has set the franchise back 4-5 years. Jeff -- Time to blow it up and start again!

Reid and MM are making us fans pay the rest of this year, because they will be gone next year. They should be fired immediately. It is the worst coaching on the league.

No, they don't and neither do I. I do look forward to a high draft pick, picked by someone other than Howie and Fatty, the "Laurel and Hardy" of the NFL.

Truthfully, it doesn't matter whether or not the players care any more, because there is such a lack of depth and talent, and the coaching staff is so inept, that they could be the most caring players in the world, and they are still headed for 3-13.
