The Eagles' inactives for Sunday's game against the Browns include left tackle Demetress Bell and running back Dion Lewis. The other inactives are wide receiver Riley Cooper, safeties Colt Anderson and David Sims, offensive lineman Nathan Menkin and defensive end Vinny Curry.

Some quick notes on each...

- The Bell inactive is the most notable. He was signed to replace Jason Peters at left tackle and started the preseason opener. He lost his job to King Dunlap. Now, he's not even playing ahead of fifth-round pick Dennis Kelly. At this point, the Bell signing has been a big mistake. Kelly will be the backup at both tackles.

- Lewis has a hamstring injury, meaning the two backup running backs are Bryce Brown and Chris Polk. Look for Brown to be the No. 2 back, and if he runs well, he could take over for Lewis as LeSean McCoy's backup today.

- Vinny Curry is the only defensive lineman down, meaning the Eagles have five defensive ends active. They usually play eight linemen, so look for how backup ends Darryl Tapp, Phillip Hunt and Brandon Graham rotate.

- Sims and Menkin just joined the team this week so it's not a surprise. Sims played in Cleveland throughout training camp and the preseason.

- Anderson and Cooper were declared out before the game.

For the Browns, the inactives are quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, wide receiver Jordan Norwood, running back Chris Ogbonnaya, defensive backs Trevin Wade and Usama Young, linebacker James-Michael Johnson and offensive lineman Oniel Cousins.

L.J. Fort will start at linebacker in place of Johnson. Billy Winn will replace John Hughes at defensive tackle.
