Barring a setback, DeSean Jackson will play Sunday when the Eagles host the Indianapolis Colts.

The Eagles are preparing for the Colts with the expectation that the wide receiver will start, according to a team source.

Jackson, who suffered a concussion over two weeks ago, has passed all the necessary neurological tests and was a full participant in practice the last two days. The only thing that could keep him from suiting up Sunday is the return of a post-concussion symptom, the source said.

Following Thursday's practice Jackson said that he intends to play, but left the door open in case he does have a setback. "Hopefully, I can play," he said. "I want to."

On Wednesday, coach Andy Reid said that the team was still taking Jackson's recovery "day-by-day." The receiver, who has missed just one game since the concussion, but also benefitted from a bye week, said that he planned to err on the side of caution in his return. Jackson has had two concussions in the last 11 months.

Nevertheless, the Eagles are forging ahead with Jackson a central part of their game plan.
