DeSean to miss practice with hamstring injury

Which team will win Sunday's Eagles-Ravens game?

The Eagles are down another receiver.

DeSean Jackson missed Thursday's practice with a hamstring strain, according to the team.

The Eagles wide receiver injured his hamstring during Wednesday's practice and was seen walking around afterward with a large wrap of ice on his left leg. He had no comment after Thursday's practice.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin did not practice either Wednesday or Thursday because of a hip pointer. He suffered his injury in the season opener at the Browns.

Maclin's and Jackson's status for Sunday's game against the Ravens is uncertain, although Jackson's injury is not believed to be as serious.

The Eagles signed Mardy Gilyard on Tuesday after Maclin's injury. The team is currently thin at receiver with Riley Cooper also out with a broken collarbone. Cooper returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since his injury in late July but was held out Thursday.

If Maclin can't play Sunday, rookie Damaris Johnson could start in his place. The Eagles also have veteran slot receiver Jason Avant as an option, as well as Gilyard.

Cornerback Curtis Marsh was limited with a hamstring injury.

@philly449 The Eagles are favored by 2 (-130) the Ravens are plus 2 +110 according to Sportsbook.com

Let me splain it to you Mr. A. Reid. Running is cool dude! Means your D is resting, your O-line is happy, your QB has less pressure, the opposing D is getting tired, you're controlling the clock, the fans are more bored, your team is strong, you could be a champion.

HAD REID DRAFTED TORREY SMITH (58TH PICK IN THE 2011 DRAFT) INSTEAD OF JAIQUAWN JARRETT (54TH PICK IN 2011), EAGLES WOULD HAVE A MORE ADEQUATE BACK UP. INSTEAD WITH THAT 2ND ROUND PICK EAGLES NOW HAVE...... NOTHING.
