DAWKINS' COAT DRIVE

After trying to stop Washington Redskins drives tomorrow at FedEx Field, Eagles Pro Bowl safety Brian Dawkins will be part of another kind of drive Monday.

Dawkins and some of his Eagles teammates are taking part in a coat drive Monday benefiting the United Way of Camden County and the Salvation Army. The drive will take place at the Ravitz Family ShopRite on Routes 70 and 73 in Marlton.

In an effort to collect as many new and lightly worn coats as possible, Dawkins and his teammates will be on hand from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to sign autographs in exchange for every donation. In addition to Dawkins, safety Quintin Mikell, linebacker Chris Gocong, kicker David Akers, tackle Tra Thomas, defensive lineman Victor Abiamiri, tight end Brent Celek and former Eagles receiver and current announcer Mike Quick are scheduled to be on hand.

The players will work shifts during the four-hour coat drive and anyone interested in making donations can call 856-983-7370 for the schedule.
