Alex Henery has missed field goals in three consecutive games, all from 40-49 yards. He was 15 of 16 during his first two seasons and is 2-for-5 this season.

But Chip Kelly is sticking with his kicker.

"I do have confidence in him," Kelly said Monday. "I know Coach Fipp has confidence in him, I think he’s a real accurate kicker. But from a kicking standpoint, I’m pretty confident in him."

Henery, in his third season, was the most accurate kicker in Eagles history in his first two seasons. Kelly said in close games, the issue gets magnified. But when studying Henery's kicks, Kelly did not see a pattern.

Can the Eagles make the playoffs?
Yes. A 7-9 finish could win their division.
No. Not with that defense.

"It’s interesting when you analyze his three misses, one was right, one was left, one was right," Kelly said. "We look at everything, when someone makes a mistake, how do we correct it. Not that you want them, but if all three of them were left, we’d be analyzing where his plant foot is and how he’s doing, is he swinging through the ball and kind of pulling it, or is he not blocking his hips out and pushing the ball."

Don't expect any lineup changes when the Eagles play the Giants on Sunday. Kelly hinted there aren't changes to make, and that he wants to play every player dressed on game day.

It’s not like we’re not getting guys in the game and guys aren’t playing and guys aren’t getting an opportunity," Kelly said. "You don't have a whole other [group] of guys. ..There’s not going to be this guy’s starting this week, but we got to get all 46 guys playing.”

There are no injuries of note, Kelly said.
