Boldin to fire Rosenhaus

POSTED: Tuesday, May 26, 2009, 3:09 PM

"Next agent!"

Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin has reportedly ditched super(annoying)agent Drew Rosenhaus. Team Boldin has tried its best to force a trade or get a new contract this off-season to no avail. Obviously, Rosenhaus, who may have spent too much time on Twitter, has paid the price.

You gotta love Drew's response: "Regarding Anquan Boldin, let me say that I have great respect for him. I'm hopeful we can work this out and he can return to the Rosenhaus Sports family in the near future. We are proud to continue to represent his brother, D.J. Boldin. We would also like to take this opportunity to announce that we have signed Will Allen to a 2-year contract extension with the Dolphins worth $16.2 million. We are pleased to announce today that we have re-signed New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey [to a representation agreement]."

Read about it here.

Nelson from "The Simpsons" to points at Drew and does his trademark "HAH hah." I hope A.B. works out a contract using another agent; that will be a cost to both's Drew's pocketbook and his reputation. You've got to give Drew props though... with all of the agents he has, and with the way he gets a % of each contract, the guy has got to be a millionaire many times over.

Rosenhaus-"In responce to you question regarding the termination of my relationship with one fo the best players in football, let me just say that I still represent his much more intelligent brother, and that I negotiated a deal for Will Allen and resigned Jeremy Shockey, both terribly important players in regards to the success of the National Football League as a business is 2009/2010" Classic. in Drew's mind, he is the center of the universe and the rest of us are just asteroids orbiting his head.

The reason Macklin isn't on the "Unofficial Depth Chart" is because the Eagles have 11 WRs on the roster and there are only 6 spots on the depth chart. RB is thin so they can put McCoy in there, same with TE and Ingram.

Asteroids don't orbit, gee1971. That's what makes them asteroids.

Let's start with the "unofficial depth chart"...it IS NOT FROM THE EAGLES ORGANIZATION. It was just created for discussion purposes only. There is no depth chart until the roster is at 53 members. 5isaqueen has been sniffing way too much glue...the mind is a terrib le thing to waste.
