Eagles defensive end Jason Babin fined $15,750
Zach Berman, Inquirer Staff Writer
Jason Babin was fined $15,750 for roughing Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden when he "unnecessarily" drove him into the ground.
The Eagles defensive end has been fined a number of times over the last three seasons. Babin was very vocal about one last season and claimed that the NFL was making it much more difficult for defensive players to do their jobs.

Babin's an overrated scumbag meathead. he's going to hurt this team with a dumb penalty very soon. Fascism Rules
Babin has the worst tats in the nfl Jay Grace 69
@fascism rules and @jay grace 69: who are you people? scumbag meathead? worst tats? anything related to football?

Really? I mean what did Babin have like 18 or 19 sacks at one point
last year, he was seriously threatening Michael Strahan's record
for most sacks in a season, at one point, like 22 or 23?
He made his second straight pro bowl appearance in two separate
conferences, AFC and NFC. The dude almost always plays through injuries too.
You show how IGNORANT you really are with posts like that?
Who else on the team has gone to two straight PBs??? mikey48
Cut This CLOWN once and for all and pack ANDY and Marty in the same suitcase. chilenos
I do think that rules should be fairly implemented. There are times that,MV is driven into the ground....and no penalty. Thereseems to be uneven enforcement...and we are penalized defensively for hits and MV is being mauled. 5thstrretpast
Babin has been very productive in the last 2 years, but nowhere near as much this year. The two things he's carried over from last year are his outspokenness and the head scratching penalties that extend drives or give the opponent first downs. The outspokenness and the penalties were obscured when he was getting to the QB, but now every negative thing he does is magnified, and he would be better off keeping his head down until his play starts to pick up. I wonder if Babin hates the wide 9 as much as I do Mike Boryla
