Andy Reid: 'I'm going to stick with Nick'

POSTED: Friday, December 14, 2012, 1:25 AM

Andy Reid named Nick Foles the starting quarterback two weeks ago regardless of Michael Vick's health, but now that Vick is cleared to play, Reid confirmed he's staying with Foles.

"I'm going to stick with Nick," Reid said.

Foles did not provide an inspiring performance in a 34-13 loss to the Bengals. He threw for 182 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The interception was especially costly and led to a five-turnover barrage.

"A bad throw,” Foles said. “One I can’t have.”

As for injuries...

**Stanley Havili has a strained hamstring and will undergo an MRI on Monday.

**Evan Mathis has a sprained ankle. It's the ankle that has bothered him before.

**Nnamdi Asomugha had his hand X-rayed, but returned to the game.

**Clay Harbor has a lower back spasm.

**Brandon Hughes has an injury that has not yet been determined.

Doesn't Reid saying he's going to stick with a quarterback usually mean exactly the opposite? god help us.

BrunSatellite, you are totally wrong. Win or lose we are tired of Andy and he has to go. PERIOD

The interception didn't lead to more turnovers. It began a barrage of TOs but the other fumbles/muffs would probably have occurred if that interception never happened.

I think the future is bright with Foles
