Eagles linebacker Stewart Bradley wasn't on the field Thursday after limping out of practice Wednesday, but he seemed to be moving fine as he pushed a wheelbarrow of wet cement at the Eagles' annual playground building event, this one held at the John Wister School.
"It just cramped up, really," Bradley said, adding that he was probably dehydrated.
Bradley, who is returning from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, wore a sleeve over his left calf. A pad or wrap was visible underneath as well. Bradley didn't seem concerned about the injury - described by the team as a "tweak" - noting that it's only June, months before the season.

Todd Herremans missed practice for the third straight day and is in Charlotte visiting with a noted foot specialist, according to the Eagles.
"Just a checkup," Herremans wrote on his Twitter account. "Making sure everything looks good."
Later in the day he added: Just "got back to Philly. All is well ..."

Former Eagles offensive lineman Shawn Andrews was selected in the third round of the United Football League draft by the expansion Omaha Nighthawks, according to the league's Twitter feed.
This story was first reported on by ProFootballTalk.com.
It was unclear as of tonight whether Andrews, who was released by the Eagles in March, would elect to play for the independent professional football league.

Linebacker Stewart Bradley limped off the practice field at the NovaCare Complex today, favoring his left leg.
The Eagles said he tweaked his calf. Bradley declined to be interviewed.
Bradley pulled up lame during a 7-on-7 drill and was briefly examined by the team's trainers before they decided to head inside. He walked off the field under his own power, but needed a little assistance before he walked through the doors that lead into the complex.

Running back Charles Scott became the first 2010 Eagles rookie to sign a contract when he and the team agreed to a four-year deal today.
The deal, according to a league source, is worth $1.88 million. The Eagles still have 12 rookies that they selected in the draft that remained unsigned. Many of those players should get inked over the next month. As that happens, the Eagles will be forced to cut players to keep their roster under the 80-man limit.
A sixth-round pick out of LSU, Scott ran for 2,317 yards on 434 carries (a 5.3 average) and 32 touchdowns during his career with the Tigers.

Marlin Jackson has a ruptured Achilles tendon in his right leg, the team announced this afternoon, after the safety had an MRI. His season is likely over, and very possibly, his career. An Eagles source called signing the oft-injured Jackson in the off-season a "no-risk signing," because most of the contract wasn't guaranteed, but the loss may change some of the team's defensive plans.

The Eagles resumed OTAs today -- with the full squad -- and there were already two injuries to report.
