Shawn Andrews has been to more pro bowls than anyone else on this team, relative to the length of his career. And he was an All-Pro each time - not a reserve, or selected by the coach, but a 1st team All-Pro. Even the season following his broken leg. He should have been an all-pro his rookie season, but for the unwritten rule that veterans won't vote rookies to the pro-bowl. When he's been on the field, he's been one of the 5 or 10 best linemen in the entire NFL. If you are still waiting for him to prove himself, you must have been under a rock somewhere instead of watching him play. Not including the playing time he's missed, he is a veteran in terms of the amount he's played. With all due respect, you should have been watching more closely when he was on the field, instead of expecting, in hindsight, that he prove himself. If anyone has anything to prove, look in the mirror: Prove yourself knowledgeable.

Lazy stiff!? Hey Maddy44. Are you simply one of these worthless trolls with way too much time on your hands or do you just not have a clue as to what you're talking about? Stop getting your talking points from some radio moron and learn the game. Last year aside due to injury, there has not been a better right guard in football than Shawn Andrews. To call him lazy just shows your ignorance.

Musically, Shawn Andrews is the Joe Frazier of the NFL.

Depression is a terrible mental illness that takes it's toll on the entire family. Kudos to Reid and the rest of the support team around Shawn. Live with a loved one with this disease for 27 years, then y'all will have a legitimacy in your opinions. At least Andrews seems like a happy sort; others can be terribly mean.
