At last a smart decision made by our smart decision challenged coach. It makes no sense at all to play any of the key starters vs Dallas.— RH- Hopefully AR will start Kafka so Shakes Kolb can stay on the sideline keeping the team loose with his squirting flower and baloon animals.— del ravio 100%
- The #1 problem with the Eagles is Andy Reid's stubborn intention to establish the line of scrimmage with the pass.It would shock the football world if he came out and tried to establish the ground game first and then the pass. This style of play passing 90 % of the time in ( don't count QB flushed from the pocket as a run play ) puts enormous physical and mental pressure on the QB and the obvious counter is to blitz 90 % of the time. If Vick is sore he needs to sit. Plus. isn't great that the team is finishing the season w/ Dallas and it's meaningless ? Sit everybody.— MJPD345
Reid insisted Vick would play but Vick asked to be benched. His QB rating has been dropping each week for the last 4 weeks and he is now down to #4 His QB rating is just a hair above 100(100.2) and with contract negotiations ahead Vick needs to be at or above 100 and this benching assures it. He has been exposed and teams have caught on, so best to quit while the stats are still good.— bill19666- So now you just lie? Comment removed.- ..i agree. i've been in vick's corner. not saying i'm giving up on him just yet. but..iam an eagles fan first. vick are u sure your still studying as much as earlier in the season?? it doesn't seem like it to me. misssing tons of easy throws, holding the ball,making bad reads and is back to being a to machine again. the game was too important. and vick was limping badly. that was the perfect excuse. i would've benched'em and let kolb pick up the save. but did any of us really think that gameday reid would do it?? see d.akers vs raiders. and mcnabb vs cards(4tds).
-some of it is on the o-line coach/arrogant game plan. reid has never been a coy-master. every opp knows what's coming. his we're ok with the tues move back date should've been our 1st clue as what was going to happen last nite. reid trans??we plan to be up 42-7 by mid 2nd quat so we can rest our starters. and if that doesn't work out? reid: no comment... not gonna watch that cards/eagles game on thanks giving as you prepare for the nfc title game reid?? not even a peak?? no, we've have destroyed all video of that game. cards? yes. we will watch it ad we we will make adjustments and also use it as motivation for sunday's title game. reid your response. can i phone a friend?? this team was fluff sb contenders anyway. they had a nice little season. - Play the 1st team.
