  Villanova center Brian Brannigan, who has a plantar fascia injury in his right foot, is doubtful for Saturday’s homecoming game against Rhode Island, according to coach Andy Talley.
  Talley also said that backup running back Angelo Babbaro (turf toe) will not play and the status of fullback Tony Canci (a medial collateral ligament strain) is up in the air.
