Can't wait to hear Cogan. Whose testimony you going to summarize? Castor's or Rendell's?
Cogan: "It's all George W. Bush's Fault..."
FREE VINCE
Rendell is next.Vince will appeal, remain free on bail, they will postpone every time in the appeal process,3 yrs before he sees prison,he is risk to flee.He will be squeezed by the Govt to cut deal to get Rendell. He is lucky Atty Gen is demo,he can call the dogs off to a point,I am sure
Let him live his life
cogan and jacobs will clear up the prosecutors misconceptions the jury shold say not guilyy
large fine- short jail time. term limits needed
Both are guilty! We need to send a message about political corruption in this town. The jury isn't stupid. Jacobs is just grabbing at straws.
Jacobs has lost a lot of big cases recently. Just ask some of the mob guys that are locked up. Good luck, Ruthie. Your attorney is on a losing streak and it won't end with you.
Bogus arguments? Bogus documents? That's exactly Fumo's style! Jacobs is trying his best to prove that his client did like the mythical swan that crossed the muddy swamp without getting any mud on its show-white feathers. Wow!
it seems it is easy for a jury, as well as everyone else, to see who the real liar is, and it is Vince. Do the Fumo supporters think that the Govt. made up the interview tape that was played in which Fumo says he got nothing from Citizens Alliance? That showed him for his true colors. And Fumo says he relied on legal advice, but the rebuttal witnesses, the lawyer Sprague and the other guy, flat out said they didn't provide the advice Fumo says they did. Fumo knoew from day one what he was going to do with the PECO $17 million, oh yes, keep a little for the folks in So. Philly (you know, the ones who keep voting him in) and sweep their streets and they think he is God. Why do you think he tried to keep all this Citizens Alliance stuff hush hush, and out of the newspapers, because he was right that if the newspapers got it, then it became public and was put out there for all to see. His defenses are really lame excuses and no rational person (hopefully a jury) would think his explanations are plausable. And by the way, is Jacobs is really Arnao's lawyer and acting in HER best interests, he would have cut a deal to have HER testify against Fumo long ago.
DonQ Good One LoL
Philly Guy, The interview tape was from radio. The Sen said he received no salary and no benefits. In South Philly, benefits mean health insurance, eyes, teeth, prescriptions, etc. He explained that sensibly. Sprague's words didn't agree with the written paperwork that his man wrote saying Sprague okayed deleting before subpoena being served. The prosecution's numbers near a million leaves 16 million for So. Philly, not a little. Also the Sen brought back 9 billion to the city over the years. South Philly was not the only area that benefitted greatly from his hard work.
Come on Ed, Fumo was going to keep the painting for himself. Everybody that knows him knows he has rooms filled with expensive painting. It's one of his obsessions!
Move over Mother Theresa, I think St. Vince is on his way!!!
