I am aware of a non-profit based in Philadelphia that looking into chartering one of the Seaport Museum's yachts for just a few hours to hold a fundraiser and was quoted $10K . . . twice as much as an overnight rate. It seems that membership really has its privilege at this museum. Hunter

Citizens Alliance bought a $150,000 painting....How does that help clean the streets and alleys? Whose snow does that shovel? Whose new storefront does that go in? Let's hear DiCiccio explain that one... This group should be shut down immediately...lie and steal. Oh wait... maybe the workers at DiCiccio's house needed to look at the pretty painting as they laid his brand new floor....Oh I get it now! FrankD
$150,000 for a painting? I wonder how that expense was categorized on their IRS filings? I still can't get over the fact that PECO and Penns Landing corp gave Citizens alliance millions of dollars. Why just that specific neighborhood nonprofit? I pay my PECO bill. Where's the $$ for my neighborhood? Chr

um Chr. The money from PECO came as part of the settlement of the lawsuit brought by Fumo as a rateholder that also froze your electric rates for 10 years! Sadly this rate freeze is over next year.. too bad Fumo isn't still in the Senate.. perhaps he could negotiate on your behalf some more. Oh and if you don't believe me, look it up. dSmith- I hope the CPA Kobasa learned his lesson. If you play with mud, your clothes get dirty. DonQ
