Let's see, $100 dollars a month for trash pick up. There's the two properties in Margate and Ventnor, once a week, 120 miles round trip from Philly, plus 2 men and a truck. Then we have the Green Street property. What a deal!

In the radio interview Fumo claimed he received no benefits from CA...what the heck do you call spending $818,361.73 to upgrade Fumo's Senate district office.

What they should check is how many properties CA owns, who sold those individual properties to CA, how long they held them prior to selling them to CA, and were they sold at fair market value to CA. I'll bet not. Those straw purchases can be huge profits.

Lincoln Navigator? Cadillac Escalade? Were they adapted for trash pick up and snow removal? $818,000 to upgrade Fumo's office? I remember when Rendell was criticized for spending $30,000 on his City Hall office!

$800k+ to upgrade his Senate office? Almost 1 million dollars???? I understand that Fumo is being charged with corruption charges only, is that right? Why isn't he being charged with extortion? Or grand theft?

@Chr he's not being charged for corruption. Look at the indictment.

Remember the Senator's speach when he was indicted. "In my heart I've done nothing wrong." He should of taken the deal he was offered. Now he's going to be cell mates with John Carter for 15 years.

Isn't the FBI agent a CPA? Certainly he should know about basic accounting concepts such as the tax implications of vehicle depreciation and real estate capital improvements. Something doesn't sound right.

Why should a non-cash item like depreciation be included in a list of cash expenditures? The discussion was about wasted money, not tax returns. The lawyer did a splendid job of muddling and confusing issues.
