Sunoco cutting costs. "Welcome America" shindig costs milliions.. If rumors are true, Sunoco locked in at $80.00 a barrel when others were paying $150.00, however, Sunoco kept shoveling in the money when gas at the pump neared $4.00 a gallon for consumers. Never heard a peep from Sunoco about losing money then. As for the CEO's salary which is obscene, if she took a pay cut, as she proposes some workers, or as one of her minions referred to them as " A pile of Nomex" her lifestyle wouldn't change in the least.

I for one want to give money to the "Tans for Vinny" fund. He is looking quite pasty nowadays.

Vince can't afford to go to the gym and get in the booth as much. Those free-wheeling days of OPM are winding down to a close. What matters most to me is will Nutter and will Harrisburg/Rendell push to pass campaign finance and ethics reform, instead of just demonizing only Fumo, as if he's the only example of this behavior in H-Burg. He's not, and he never will be without good laws with teeth.

I agree with Sweet Lou. Free Fumo. The prosecution is wasting tax payers money much more so than Fumo with their ridiculous picky accusations. Fumo did the same as all the others in office. His staff loved him and were proud to be associated with him and freely and willingly performed personal tasks for him. That is obvious by now.

La Diva, are you kidding, or are you one of Fumo's minions?

Even if his staff loved him and willingly performed personal tasks, it doesn't make it ethically sound.

let's see, Fumo says he paid Lisa Costello in cash. Any IRS guys out there looking at the blog and possibly wanting to see if she claimed the "cash" she got for cleaning Fumo's house on her income tax return. Note to prosecutor, maybe ask Vince how frequently and how much cash she got. Maybe if Lisa is confronted by the IRS, she might deny ever getting cash and then Vince perjured himself.

And I only took a little here and I only took a little there and OH I took all of those tools ($40k+++) but I gave them back when I knew I was in trouble. Are you kidding me? Your meek and humble act is shot because your true nasty colors are coming out as you are pressed. Vincent you still have the same attitude that got you into trouble - How dare you ask me! I'm Vince Fumo! 10 Years.

response to 10Years, you are right, but don't forget, Fumo only paid back the Seaport Museum for a few boat trips only after he knew the feds were looking into it.

i've known vince for over fourty years, and paying back some of the money hurt him more than his daughter cutting him out of her life. if you really want to punish him confiscate his money he has lost his power alredy.maybe when he gets out of prison he could be a consultant like buddy cianfrani or jim tayoun but not like lee beloff he's to smart for that.
