For those of you that are "shocked" (think Casablanca) that Senator Fumo engaged in all kinds of petty political activity...my advise you need to get over it....Vince "the prince of darkness" Fumo didn't earn that title for being a nice guy...what we're all seeing is what Senator Fumo has been doing for years...and it wasn't a real secret...anyone (including the media) who wanted to see what Vince was doing...well all they had to do was take a nice hard look at what was happening. But they didn't... why because they wanted Vince to bring home the bacon/pork for Philly...they may have been uncomfortable with his tactics but they reveled in his success...you even get a chance to hear them bemoan the loss of Vince and wonder who is going to replace him...Dwight Evans???? I would bet that many "tips" are passed along by others wanting to cut a deal for their own misgivings. So, to find a "snitch" or "whistleblower" without "baggage" would be incredibly difficult. It doesn't mean that they're not telling the truth, but obviously they want something in return. It's a fact of life. tonyS- EVA - long accepted fact criminals tend not to share their crimes with nuns, priest, and boyscouts. Pigs rut with pigs. bird11

Answer me this one - how can Mr. Mitchell Rubin sit there all day, everyday for 3 months? Isn't he the PA Turnpike Chairman? Does he get 3-4 months vacation? I know he is a very, very important guy because he spent $12,000 on a dinner in Rhode Island on behalf of the Turnpike. Visit turnpikefacts.com for much, much more on Mr. Rubin. FrankD
