Hall & Oates to the holy land?

The Rock and Hall of Fame has short-listed Hall & Oates

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has short-listed Hall & Oates for induction. It's not a lock for the Philadelphia-cured blue-eyed soul duo.

At In The Mix, pop critic Dan DeLuca notes the stiff competition - Nirvana, the Replacements, Kiss & N.W.A. for starters.

Philly.com has put up a poll, asking: what song of theirs is your favorite?

A couple tunes ran through the Wurlitzer in my mind before it stopped to play "She's Gone," from Abandoned Luncheonette, an LP in heavy rotation back in college.

Good to see so many local readers agree.

But that chestnut was losing at last count to another song from the record -  "Sara Smile."

The ultimate test, I figured, was to go to my iTunes and see what Hall & Oates songs I've actually played the most. I was surprised. Hear it below...
