Harry Kalas Calls The Ninth Inning
Here's how you get rid of your annoying Buck and McCarver problem.
Nothing and two, the count to Hinske. Fans on their feet. Rally towels are being waved...
I saw this over at Johnny Goodtimes' site, where he's found Dan Levy's perfect mash-up -- video of the whole ninth inning of Wednesday's game, with Harry the K and Wheels providing the sound. In sync.
It's all you need to get you through the winter, however long that winter may last.

- Awesome! Four days later and I still get the chills. Can't wait to come back to this during the winter - thanks for the link! Brian F.
I think, once we get to the LCS and Series, the teams involved should have their announcers doing the game. They can still have the games on Fox, just ditch the "neutral" announcers. The Series isn't about neutrality. How great would it have been for Dodger fans to hear Vin Scully doing the TV? The games are too important to have announcers who have no excitement in their voices. All you had to do was see the outpouring of love for Harry at the Citizens Bank ceremony last Friday to know how we feel about him. I think it would be an easy sell and probably boost their sagging playoff ratings. apreziosi
Harry Kalas became part of World Series, and it’s really sad to know this news. Harry Kalas, announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies since time immemorial, is no more. He became announcer for the Phillies in 1971, and held the post until his passing away just recently. He had the distinct pleasure of being in the stadium (granted, he was working) when the Phillies won both of their World Series titles. He is one of the most iconic announcers in all of Major League Baseball. He will take his place among the likes of Howard Cosell and Harry Caray. Sometimes, it's a reminder that our time here is just short term loans, after which we are Outta Here, like Harry Kalas . Damaris E
