Got Christie Love?

Readers react to the bromance

The column about my budding bromance with Chris Christie generated many action-packed reactions.

"Thanks for your great column today" began one typical email.

(OK, maybe not typical. But surely favorite).

One particularly pithy reader posted six simple words.

"Kevin, tell me you're kidding me."

(Uh, no).

Another: "You voted for Carter twice?

(Uh, yeah).

Yet another: "This is the most irrational editorial in eons."

(Love that alliteration).

Meanwhile, how's this for polarizing: Christie is both "fraud" and "savior;" a "nasty man" and a "Teddy Roosevelt."

Which is nothing compared to how readers describe our post-polarizing president.

"Obama is purposefully out to destroy this country," one reader writes.

"Obama has done everything he possibly can to improve this country," writes another.

No wonder Christie doesn't want the president's job.

Yet.
