Give the people what they want. From what I've heard of the new Springsteen CD, it sounds like he's back to his old sound, too. That's a pretty good list, but was Joe Walsh an "auxillary guitarist" as #24 states? No.

As I remember in 1978/79 when Joe Walsh joined the Eagles he had been a successful musician with The James Gang and as a solo artist. Joe Walsh's addition to the Eagles line up made them the super group they becaem imho. I think he was the last piece of the puzzle.

Pre-Walsh the Eagles were the sort of headliner that put you to gentle sleep with their gorgeous harmonies and country rock -- particularly if you'd just been jacked up by, say, by the Marshall Tucker Band
