A History of Blogs

Did you know the Romans invented blogs? Or that blog is short for weblog, which is short for "we blog because we weren't very popular in high school and we're trying to gain respect and admiration without actually having to be around people."

The ultimate blog post.  Comic relief from Wired, via Gawker.

If it's not on the history channel, then it's not real history ;-)

My first blog visit was Ernie's house of whoop-ass. Not at all safe for work, children, religious institutions, people with weak stomachs or anybody who is easily to not-so-easily offended. I think my best friend joined the Air Force because of him :) It's at ehowa.com, but don't say I didn't warn anyone.

My first was a guy at Swarthmore in the early 90s named Justin Hall. Learned about his world. Dug his links. Felt like a peeping tom.
