Looks like Jeff Spicoli has graduated to the board room.

Introducing Bong Vodka, the 150-year-old imported spirit inspired by those water pipes of hazy youth.

A press release sent our way states that Florida-based musician and nightclub designer Jimi Beach based the concept "on the symbolism of the bong as a communal object, and the subcultural role it has represented for decades as an icon for the underground art and entertainment community."

Right, dude. I'd love to have been in on the meeting where this baby was green-lighted ...

We're going be rich. 'Bartender, I'll have a Bong.'

Are you going to finish those Cheetos?

Oh, now I get it. Bong Vodka comes from Holland. Where even the dogs smoke.

The drink debuted in Florida last month. A New York launch is planned, followed by distribution in select states. A post in the Gridskipper travel blog mused:

You know what would be soooo cool, is if someone took a bottle of Bong Vodka and made a bong outta it! Maybe you could just, like, leave the vodka in there as the bongwater. And maybe someone will see your bong, and think it's just more Bong Vodka, and they'll be all pourin' out the nasty bongwater into their Red Bull!

A commenter there noted it would have made a plausible excuse for Michael Irwin when he was stopped by the police.

That's quite a remarkable site - with great graphics - evocative of smoke coming from the top.  How much more brazen can you get?

It needs 3 or 4 tubes coming out of it so you can share communal hits, I mean sips.

Watching that into (and thinking about the amount of money they must have spent on it) you realize the Internet is a major marketing platform nowadays - for alchol, movies, etc. it automatically targets the up-scale.

They don't mention the price - that's usually a sign I can't afford it. But it would be a great thing to have out for a party, along with Johnnie Walker Black label and Bombay Blue Sapphire.

I think its the best vodka I have ever tasted. Gray Goose needs to fly away. It's not as smooth.
