Phillyist rummages through iTunes and discovers there is no "Philadelphia" playlist.  It wants reader help. We always liked Neil Young's "Philadelphia" over Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Philadelphia," though there's plenty of room for two from the same flick. "South Street" by the Orlons? Need it. You can keep "Philadelphia Freedom" and, sorry, anything that was ever in Rocky. Marah's "Christian Street" is a keeper. I've gotten it started. Anyone??  David Dye is first. The World Cafeman writes by email: "Frankford El" by the American Dream. "Shackamaxon" by Slo Mo with Mic Wrecka. And "Mt. Airy Grove" by Pieces of a Dream. Anyone else? Image editor Chris Gray adds "You Gotta Have Summertime," By Will Smith, "I-76" by G Love and - best - "Punk Rock Girl" by the Dead Milkmen.

We know about the campaign to silence The Ducks, those annoying, quacking, quasi-aquatic tourist movers, but not about the Pirates of the El Caminos. In the midst of a many-reasoned post on why she writes on Metroblogging Philadelphia, Suzanne 'fesses:

Because I have friends who come up with things like getting a fleet of El Caminos, painting them purple, filling the back with people in pirate garb, and following those stupid Ride the Ducks!! tours around whilst shouting things like "YARR! We be from Trenton!"

I had no idea this wasn't just something I imagined seeing on Chestnut Street after a Delirium Tremens or two.

How is AllofMp3 offering downloads of "The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time" for so little money. (James Brown, Live at the Apollo for $1.14?) A: It's a Russian site. B: Its idea of a greatest album is a Led Zeppelin collection, but otherwise their editors seem to read their Rolling Stone, and there are bargains to be had. (Those curious about the law or sound quality, might want to read the Wiki page.)

With a rant about Sweeney Todd getting robbed, The Tattered Coat returns. Closeted since November, when Matt tended to that little matter of a dissertation, the blog is back. With a new look, sort of.

The Huffington Post is in New York today to receive a Webby award for best political blog. The winners get to make a five word speech. Arianna Huffington asks her readers for contributions. How about: "Everyone writes his own stuff?" Background here.

What about that song about the Schuylkill Expressway, "76"? Is that G.Love, maybe?

You can keep anything that was ever in 'Rocky'?? Robert Tepper "No Easy Way Out" from Rocky III is a classic.

I'm a huge Boss fan, but I too would take Neil Young's Philadelphia song over Bruce's. For the playlist, I would suggest "Expressway to Your Heart" by the Soul Survivors (or pretty much anything from the Gamble & Huff gang).

Check out "Into Philadelphia" by IKE, who will be opening for the Hooters on Friday at the Electric Factory. The song is often played before Phillies games. The song was written by frontman John Faye, formerly of the John Faye Power Trip ("Miss Catch-22", the JFPT lineup is the same as IKE) and The Caufields ("Devil's Diary").

You can hear the song on their myspace account here:

And of course from the Hooters, "Beat Up Guitar".
