On Vacation

That's me in line at the hardware store. The guy with the joint compound, putty knife, brushes, primer and look of confusion.

Taking vacation time until the first of the year.

Doing a few small repairs.

Back in business Jan. 3.

'Til then, how about:

I think it's funny how you take a vacation from your work of blogging while most others take a break from work to blog.

Happy Holidays.

What? Back in business Jan. 3rd? It's no wonder that actually bloggers and faithful blog readers don't consider blogs a "business" or ever feel the need for a "vacation" from it.

Gotta love blogs that are from corporate America....

Right on Enrico

Thanks for the tune 'rico. In fact, blogging has eaten up so much of my life that my editor ordered me to take unused vacation time before the end of the year - or lose it.

And John? I think of myself as an "actual blogger," actually, even if I'm paid by the beast. Right on, baby.

I say, I for one am seriously glad you got the Use or Lose message rather than the Buyout or Fly Out one.

Happy vacation and Happy New Year, Dan.

You must have been standing next to me in line.

Maybe you can come over and help rake the two-foot deep ruts in my yard where the septic guy forgot we were in a winter thaw when he positioned his truck.
