A New York Judge called it a complaint that read more like a Mickey Spillane novel.
And so yesterday, former NY Daily News bon vivant Jared Paul Stern found his case dismissed.
The former Page Six gossiper had alleged that the Clintons had conspired with the Daily News and billionaire Democratic financier Ron Burkle to ruin his reputation.
His suit didn't help.
The New York Times writes:
Justice Walter B. Tolub of State Supreme Court in Manhattan dismissed all of Mr. Stern's claims, which were contained in a complaint filed by his lawyer that the judge called "a political diatribe."
Stern, you may remember, is the Philly-born, fedora and monicle sporting Bennington grad, who wound up starring in a grainy video that showed him telling Burkle that for six figures he could be protected from inaccurate reporting in the gossip columns.
Stern's suit contented Burkle was trying to bribe the writer.
