Philly Airport experiencing 45-60 minute delays

Philadelphia International Airport experienced delays Wednesday because of storms in the city and elsewhere.

Airport spokeswoman Mary Flannery said at about 1 p.m. that departures were experiencing delays of about 45 to 60 minutes because of the storm that passed through Philadelpia earlier Wednesday, and because of storms in other areas on the East Coast, affecting Newark, JFK and LaGuardia airports.

Some flight arrivals in Philadelphia have been delayed, too, but some are arriving on time, she said.
