A man was hit by a Market-Frankford Line train in Kensington on Thursday morning.

A man was hit by a Market-Frankford Line train in Kensington on Thursday morning.

The incident happened about 9:45 a.m. at the Huntingdon Station, SEPTA said, where the man was sitting on the westbound platform with part of his legs extending into the track area.

A train coming into the station struck his legs, temporarily pinning the man between the platform and train, SEPTA said.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital. His condition wasn't known.

No one else was hurt.

All riders should board on the eastbound platforms between the Allegheny and Berks stations. Some delays on the subway line are also possible.
