Columbus Day Parade, festivals and beer run to close city streets this weekend

Streets will be closed this weekend in Center City, South Philly, and Old City for an outdoor dining event, the Columbus Day Parade, the Old City Festival, and a beer-related run by the Delaware River.

Also Sunday, the Old City Fest will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 200 and 300 blocks of Arch Street, and on Third Street from Market to Race. Streets will be closed starting at 2 a.m. for festival setup.

Streets in the area will be closed for setup starting at 6:30 a.m. and should open by 10 a.m.
