And if the spot's ownership can't be established by the law, it can still be done by slashing tires.

This is what happened to a woman named "Jen," according to CBS 3, who took a spot she knew someone was holding because she was thinking "I have no choice, I don't want to drive anymore."

When she emerged from a visit to her mother three hours later, she found her tires slashed and believes the act was retaliation for taking the spot.
