Woman nabs dug-out spot; tires slashed

Using chairs or trash cans to hold a parking spot that has been shoveled out is not legal in Philadelphia, but everybody does it.

And if the spot's ownership can't be established by the law, it can still be done by slashing tires.

This is what happened to a woman named "Jen," according to CBS 3, who took a spot she knew someone was holding because she was thinking "I have no choice, I don't want to drive anymore."

When she emerged from a visit to her mother three hours later, she found her tires slashed and believes the act was retaliation for taking the spot.
