For this edition of Trendy Homes, we venture into Gavin's converted carriage house to see how he rehabbed this Northern Liberties home from the ground up.

In early 2008, Gavin purchased the property from the City of Philadelphia. It had a livable house in the front of the property, and a carriage house in the back. The carriage house was merely just a shell of a home, so he took on the project of completely building and designing it to his taste. It was a two year project that's still in motion.

Gavin was kind enough to walk us through his home. He also shared with us his website, that goes into great detail about the process of transforming his home. Check that out HERE.

About this blog
There’s a difference between a house and a home. A house is a building that stands on a foundation. A home is an evolving space that reflects your life and personality. This blog is dedicated to the home and the stories that begin there.
