How should the Eagles use the No. 28 pick?
Include it in a trade for Anquan Boldin because a WR will put them over the top
Include it in a trade for Jay Cutler because you have to try if a young, franchise QB becomes available
Package it with the other first-round pick to move up
Make the selection because they have many holes to fill

The poll is pretty self-explanatory. The Eagles have these two first-round draft choices and a bunch of different scenarios. Some might be more real than others -- for instance, we can't be sure that Boldin or Cutler will be available. Still, this is where the conversation is today, so have at it.

Depends - Should we factor in McNabb's threat?

I don't want a whiner like Cutler. Boo-hoo, they tried to trade him.

Trade both first round picks for picks in the 2011 draft.

Snake has the right idea. The Eagles will be losers this season and will get higher picks in 2011.

We have holes to fill. McNabb can whine if he likes, he's a man of integrity and will play, and when healthy will perform, bu he needs help! I'm cool with the WR we got, much better talent than in years past (remember we got to the SuperBowl without Owens during the playoffs). This crop is better than the one's who got us through the playoffs that year. But we need RB, FB, OL, TE and CB help!

What about Peppers? Would you give Carolina back their pick plus a second or third rounder for possibly the best DL in the game? I know it's not a huge need, but could you pass up acquiring such a game changer?

I do not about the Eagles, but the Fans should not waste their money on seeing this team. Laurie is exploiting philly fans and we are letting him.

Trade it or the second along with Donnie to Denver for Cutler and their first rounder. Start again with Jay and then draft a WR in the second or third round. Get a back with 21 and a TE in the second or third. Get a OL and DL in the down rounds. Build for 2011.

it would be best 2 go after boldin...we already have a pro-bowl caliber qb although cutler is younger...but if cutler came here we still wouldnt have any weapons for him to throw to and cutler threw 18 picks last year and for all the ppl who talk about mcnabb's inaccuracy he doesnt over/under throw it to the other team....

This ownership continues to make money, but not championships. Time to start over. Reid, Banner, McNabb, yada, yada, yada. Keep buying tickets and jerseys, you lemmings, Jeff and Christina appreciate it.

About Rich Hofmann
Rich Hofmann arrived at the Daily News in 1980 for a job whose status was officially designated as "full-time, temporary." A senior at Penn at the time, he was hired to fill in on the copy desk during a staff illness. The notion of him covering the Eagles or being a columnist did not exist in anyone's imagination. It was supposed to be six weeks and out, but he never left. It is only one of the reasons why so many people have concerns about him as a potential house guest. Rich has blogged the postseasons of the Flyers and Eagles. E-mail Rich at hofmanr@phillynews.com
