POSTED: Tuesday, November 27, 2012, 11:05 AM

Following the Eagles' seventh straight loss, how long will Andy Reid last as the team's coach? Who will return first, the Flyers from the lockout or 76ers center Andrew Bynum from his injuries? Daily News columnist Rich Hofmann shares his weekly Three Big Answers in a chat with CineSport's Brian Clark.

Andy is more like their friend than their coach.

    He lost the team.

That effort by the secondary last night was pathetic.

Motivation of a team is the coach's domain. Andy has failed totally in this regard.

If i was Lurie, why would I fire Andy now? He's giving the Eagles the best chance to get a high draft pick without looking like its an intentional dumping of games. If the Eagles won a game, Then i would fire him

Let him finsh the season, he built the Eagles into a winning team at least let him walk away after the season is over.

Reid did give us some great memories. It's a shame that such highly paid players are quitters. A dark age is about to descend on this football team. Hopefully it doesn't last too long. Meanwhile, I think they should get Shaw from Stanford. Great coach.

it doent matter who coaches this team to the seasons end this year, it wont get any better either way so if you fire Reid now how will that effect things?...... I dont think it makes a difference as this team is just one of the worst NFL teams ever, I have seen teams look bad but never this unorganized as the Eagles are this year.

This is what we as Eagles wanted. Lets recap, we never wanted McNabb:gone, we wanted Kolb to start:done, we wanted Foles to start:done. We complain about not winning a SB like we won a few before. Andy Reid and McNabb was the best run we ever had and you clowns ran them out of town. We will not win for a long time after Reid is gone. You fans got what you wanted, a losing team again.

The Tonner loves it when people say the fans ran a player out of town. If the fans ran McNabb out of town, then the Tonner guesses they ran Dawkins out of town too? Did they run Trotter out of town the first time? How do the decisions of an organization equate to fans "running a player out of town"? Stop blaming the fans and look at the morons who put the team where it is today. Those culpable are, in no particular order, Reid, Roseman, Lurie, Banner and Heckert. Class dismissed son.

All this talk about firing Reid shouldn't be necessary.Reid has always preached doing the 'right' thing.Well,we all know that under his leadership the franchise has hit bottom.Worse yet, there are are no redeeming qulities to give reason for 'hope'.Isn't this the right time to step aside?Well,we all know that Reid will simply not do the 'right' thing. He is dug in now to collect the paycheck,no doubt. How can Reid let these other people around him keep getting fired and he stands up and say's he's only interested in making his team better?Take his big,fat paychecks to the bank? For years Reid has done the necessary thing and cut players that were non-producers,right?Be a man,Reid! You have hurt the franchise, the team, and you are making yourself look like a SELFISH fool.Leave now.Do the right thing now and step aside.Do it.Do it now.

This is a game. And all associated with it are well paid. Reid has been through a lot more than a football team losing a bunch of games. What does that matter to anyone really? I wish Andy and his family find some peace and solace in their lives...........

I'll tell you why you let Reid go now. You do it because you all are correct, it will make no difference. We would be doing Reid a favor by letting him get home and away from this garbage. Let him spend the time with his family that he should have spent after his son passed. He will need time I and I say it's a good opportunity to give it to him. The ultimatum of better than 8-8 is out the window. We can give Marty M a shot as the interim (which we all know he won't earn the job) and see what he has in a face-saving move. Don't end it now to punish the guy, end it now because it's the best thing for him right now.

Please don't fire Andy until after the season. He should have to suffer until the end of the season, just like the rest of us. That is just punishment for his ruining the Eagles after the last 2 and 1/2 years.

We all know the difference between winning and losing in the NFL is paper thin, but this has become ridiculous, and over the last couple of years. I blame an antiquated West Coast Offense and the horrible Wide 9 that gets exposed week after week

Rich Hofmann arrived at the Daily News in 1980 for a job whose status was officially designated as "full-time, temporary." A senior at Penn at the time, he was hired to fill in on the copy desk during a staff illness. The notion of him covering the Eagles or being a columnist did not exist in anyone's imagination. It was supposed to be six weeks and out, but he never left. It is only one of the reasons why so many people have concerns about him as a potential house guest.
