@CoettaGarner25, could i pay you $.99 to not post here trashing the Sixers? If you can't get behind a nucleus of Holliday and Turner and Thad Young right now please don't jump back on the bandwagon in a year or two. You just sound like one of the many ignorant Philly sports fans. Probably were hating on the phillies in '07 then the biggest fan in 2008.

Let's all face it. For what ever reason Philly sports are all in a major slump. Epic. The question is how bad will it get before it gets better?

The new DC needs more than NFL experience. They're a dime a dozen. You need one that attacks and disrupts and confuses the QB and can adjust on his feet.

About this blog
Rich Hofmann arrived at the Daily News in 1980 for a job whose status was officially designated as "full-time, temporary." A senior at Penn at the time, he was hired to fill in on the copy desk during a staff illness. The notion of him covering the Eagles or being a columnist did not exist in anyone's imagination. It was supposed to be six weeks and out, but he never left. It is only one of the reasons why so many people have concerns about him as a potential house guest. Rich has blogged the postseasons of the Flyers and Eagles. E-mail Rich at hofmanr@phillynews.com Reach Rich at hofmanr@phillynews.com.
