McNabb catching a pass has solid value. Who knows, maybe one of his balls gets batted down and he catches it. Not to mention the trick play stuff.

What are the odds that Vick gets popped on his probation before seeing the field in the regular season? He is still hanging out with his bone thugs from newport news, va. I wish that we could rewind the tape and go back to last Wednesday when everything was great in Eagleville.

I think the odds are high that Vick will be an Eagle in 2010, in fact he will be the starting QB since he will be younger, faster and cheaper than McNabb. before that they will have to give him more work than just being a trick play guy in 2009, they will have to try him out to see what he can do. I would put the odds of Mcnabb being an Eagle 2010 at 4-1 NO, unless Vick proves to be a terible passer despite the help he's getting now at summer camp.

About Rich Hofmann
Rich Hofmann arrived at the Daily News in 1980 for a job whose status was officially designated as "full-time, temporary." A senior at Penn at the time, he was hired to fill in on the copy desk during a staff illness. The notion of him covering the Eagles or being a columnist did not exist in anyone's imagination. It was supposed to be six weeks and out, but he never left. It is only one of the reasons why so many people have concerns about him as a potential house guest. Rich has blogged the postseasons of the Flyers and Eagles. E-mail Rich at hofmanr@phillynews.com
