Nutter Tweets for Evans

Mayor Nutter is on a publicity blitz today in support of State Rep. Dwight Evans, who faces a challenge to his post as minority chair of the House Appropriations Committee (he is the majority chair until Republicans take over the state House with new terms in January). Nutter is not only making public appearances, he is Tweeting to rally the troops in support of Evans in advance of a Tuesday caucus vote.

"If u live in Phila region pls contact ur Dem state rep, urge them 2 spprt @RepDwightEvans 4 Appropriations Chair. He's a champion 4 our city," Nutter tweeted this morning from his Twitter account, @michael_nutter.
