Services will be held Saturday morning for former Councilwoman Augusta "Gussie" Clark.

Funeral plans for former City Councilwoman Augusta Clark

A funeral service for the late City Councilwoman Augusta A. Clark will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, Oct. 19, at Bright Hope Baptist Church, 1601 North 12th St.   She died Sunday at age 81.

Viewings for the Councilwoman are scheduled Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Terry Funeral Home, 4203-05 Haverford Ave., and also at Bright Hope, preceding the funeral service, from 8 to 10 a.m.

The family asked for donations in lieu of flowers, to be made to the Gussie and Leroy Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund, care of Bright Hope Baptist Church, 12th Street and Cecil B. Moore Ave., Philadelphia 19122.
