City commissioner looks forward to November 5
For Al Schmidt, Nov. 5 will be more than just Election Day.
November 5 is shaping up as quite the trifecta for City Commissioner Al Schmidt.
It's the first Tuesday of the month, which makes it Election Day. Schmidt and the other two commissioners, Anthony Clark and Stephanie Singer, are in charge of running the show and counting the votes.
It's also the birthday of Schmidt's wife, Erin, an attorney. And it's the due date for their third child, expected to be their first son, joining daughters Maggie, 6, and Grace, 3.
