Vans recalls boy’s hooded jackets with drawstrings

Vans is recalling about 2,400 of its AV Edict hooded jackets for boys because the drawstrings in the hood around the neck area pose a strangulation hazard to young children. They were sold in boy’s sizes S, M, L and XL and made from black cotton or black canvas with a drawstring through the hood.

No injuries have been reported. For more information, go the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Website.
