Livie & Luca recalls children’s shoes

A metal thread inside the interior shoe liner of the “Carta” and “Cotton” shoes can loosen and poke through the shoe lining, potentially causing a cut.

Livie & Luca recalled about 5,600 of its "Carta" and "Cotton" children's shoes because a metal thread inside the interior shoe liner can loosen and poke through the shoe lining, potentially causing a cut.

The company has received two reports of the metal thread coming through the liner of the shoe, including one report of a child's foot that was cut by a metal thread poking through the shoe lining.
