IKEA recalled about 40,000 Kritter and Sniglar Junior Beds in the United States and Canada because the metal rod connecting the guard rail to the bed frame can break in use, posing a laceration hazard.
There has been one report in the U.S. and one report in Canada of the metal rod on the beds breaking. No injuries have been reported. For more information, go to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
