Finger Foods and School Nurses

There are a couple of interesting stories on philly.com today that you might want to take a look at.

One, from HealthDay, reports that babies who were weaned on finger foods rather than pureed foods may have less risk of obesity. It is based on a study in the British Medical Journal. 

The second, from regular philly.com blogger Michael Cohen, president of the Institute for Safe Medication Practices, offers tips on making sure your child receives the correct medications at school, especially as the number of school nurses shrinks.
